| Volunteers Orientation, Paracounselling Training & Training of Facilitators Programmes Beginning 27th February 2010 |
Eager to volunteer at AWAM but unsure how? AWAM is conducting two training programmes geared towards encouraging volunteer participation in our programmes. A Paracounselling Training will be conducted especially for those interested in volunteering their time in aiding us in providing services to women in crisis through paracounselling, support, and empowerment programmes. The course will be conducted every Saturday for six weeks begining 10th April 2010. If paracounselling is not your interest, a Training of Facilitators Programme is also available for those interested in conducting public education, training and facilitation. This programme starts in April 2010. Participants of both programmes are required to attend an Orientation Programme, beginning 27th February, 2pm-6pm. The orientation, paracounselling training and training of facilitators programme each costs RM60. You can choose which programme to sign up for, but participants for paracounselling and training of facilitators programmes are requested to attend the orientation programme. Places will only be reserved once payment has been received to avoid back-outs. Download the details of each programme, and the registration form here.
