In 2023 alone, AWAM managed to conduct a total of 43 trainings that consisted of Talks, Workshops, and Training of Trainers, in which the focus of these trainings were on Safeguarding Against Sexual Harassment in The Workplace, Women’s Empowerment, and Period Poverty.

Through our trainings, we seek to realize our vision of a just, democratic, and equitable society to ensure that everyone can live happier and healthier, free from gender-based violence. This will allow them to uniquely embrace their highest potential and become highly productive and contributing members of society.

We do this by designing and delivering specialized talks, workshops and trainings in the following areas.

TALK

Conducted either online or physically, AWAM’s Talk Sessions aim to heighten the awareness among audiences and participants on topics that revolve around AWAM’s focus. This training is more engaging when the audience and participants will be actively involved with participation elements such as voting in polls.

  • The preferred format amongst corporate clients
  • No maximum number of participants for talk sessions
  • Maximum 2 hours for each session

WORKSHOP

An extension to AWAM’s Talk Sessions, AWAM’s Workshops enable participants to expand their understanding by learning more and interacting more fully on subjects that are vital to AWAM.

  • Typically conducted physically to engage with the content better, but also doable online
  • Limited to 30-40 participants only for each workshop
  • Can go on for a minimum of 2 hours, and a maximum of 4 hours

Training of Trainers (TOT)

AWAM provides participants with the abilities and information necessary to conduct their own talks and workshops on topics that center on AWAM’s focus. Through a range of engaging approaches such as case studies and presentations, AWAM’s Training of Trainers  equips participants to successfully conduct their own talks and workshops.

  • A minimum of 8 hours
  • Diverse learning methods employed by using tools such as case studies and presentations
  • TOT is typically used for clients who aim to train their own managerial staff
  • Highly recommended that this is to be conducted physically

Each training format is priced differently to accommodate various budgets respectfully. Book a training session with us.
