At AWAM, we recognise that women have been largely excluded from decision-making positions in their daily lives. AWAM is thus a space where women call the shots, make decisions and ultimately determine the direction of the organisation.
Our members participate in AWAM’s decision-making processes at all levels – individual and the collective.
Members can be elected to be part of the Executive Council after a membership of at least 2 years. Alongside AWAM staff at the Working Collective (WC), the Executive Council makes decisions related to the direction of AWAM’s activities, campaigns, events and documentation.
